Childhood is a time of discovery and experimentation. A child's work is play--spirited, uninhibited play. Children are not concerned with pleasing others or creating a certain outcome from their efforts, because they are fully immersed in the present moment.
As adults a combination of increased responsibilities and painful past experiences can make us heavy, like we're packing around a suitcase filled with bricks. In the midst of climbing up a flight of stairs, 60 pound suitcase in tow, it is easy to lose sight of that childlike wonder.
The problem is that it is this state of childlike wonder that allows us to live our best lives. In order to make quantum leaps, we need to have the courage to begin and the curiosity to keep going. This requires that we loosen up our resting serious faces and integrate play into our lives-- at work and at home.
Our "Wonder" Manifestation Tattoo is a reminder to stay connected to that inner child that likes to finger paint and go for long bike rides. It is within this state of childlike wonder that we can reconnect to who we really are.
